Our Learning Journey
Our programs support children’s growth through connection, play, and meaningful experiences. We create a calm, nurturing environment where children feel a strong sense of belonging and are encouraged to explore, discover, and express themselves. Learning is guided by respect for each child, their development, and their connection to the world around them.
Infant Program: Little Seeds
12 - 18 Months
At Seven Roots, our Infant Program is a sanctuary for our littlest ones. We follow a gentle rhythm of nurturing care that honors each baby's unique spirit and pace. In this warm, land-based environment, early learning is woven into the daily flow of storytelling, movement, and sensory exploration.
Safe, consistent relationships build the trust and belonging necessary for healthy growth. Our dedicated caregivers focus on consistent bonding, and a deep respect for each child’s heritage.

Toddler Program: Growing Roots
Celebrating emerging independence and natural curiosity, our Toddler Program provides a safe, nurturing space where their journey as 'Growing Roots' begins. Rooted in Indigenous values of respect and community, we support this vibrant age as they transition from parallel play to meaningful social connection.
- Land-Based Discovery: Daily outdoor exploration learning from the plants, soil, and seasonal rhythms of the land.
- Storytelling and Language: Children are supported through storytelling, songs, and meaningful language experiences that foster connection, belonging, and a sense of identity.
- Social & Emotional Play: Activities designed to develop kindness, sharing, and early relationship-building skills.
Within our stable and secure environment, every relationship is built on trust. We ensure your child feels seen, heard, and deeply loved as they take their first courageous steps into a wider world.
